Who We Are

Building Bridges is an undergraduate organization at Yale University that seeks to better connect with the rural parts of China. Every year, we fundraise and organize service-teaching trips to rural China during spring breaks, summer breaks, or both. Our organization focuses on introducing university undergraduates to their own opportunities to teach in China, organize relief efforts, work with our mainland Chinese counterparts, network with philanthropic organizations, and to examine how these elements come together to produce long-term educational solutions. At the same time, Building Bridges establishes long-lasting relationships between American and Chinese students with Chinese primary schools and its students.
